    From June 5 through June 16 students, parents, family, and staff from Gallup High and Miyamura High toured Europe. London, Paris, Florence, Rome, Sorrento, and Capri were among the places visited. It was a great time!

    Congratulations to our track athletes that competed this weekend @ District in Bloomfield, especially Jessica Ramirez who is our district champion in the 1 & 2 mile, Zakarri Fields district champion in the 400, 3rd place in the Long Jump & Runner-up in the 200, & SheRae Fox 5th in the Long Jump. Jessica & Zakarri will join Steven Nez @ state this weekend in Albuquerque. Good luck to all!!!

  • There will be a Senior Class meeting this Thursday August 24th at 8:00 am. in B-106.
  • The first edition of this year's Ambush! News is online today, along with brand new poll questions. Remember that you can answer the polls in each section of the paper if you check it out on ghsambush@weebly.com.  Answer the polls before they're updated next week!
  • Ambush! is also looking for anyone who is interested in becoming a part-time assistant webmaster and arts editor. If you don't know how to do web design and layout, but you'd like to learn, you are welcome. Anyone who is interested should sign up with Ms. Sweetwyne in A202. The interviews will be held right after school this Wednesday.
  • Animal awareness group will have its first meeting after school on Thursday, August 24 at 4pm.

  • Students taking CCTE classes at UNMG, remember that the CCTE Jump Start is tomorrow.A bus will be here in the morning to take you to the school and return you after the event. You will need to bring a paper copy of your schedule with you to know which CCTE classes to go to on the UNMG campus. The event should conclude and have you back to GHS around lunch time.
